Senior Hardware Development Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join our Electronic Concepts & Design Department. You will lead the development of automotive electronic control units (ECUs) in line with industry standards, acting as the technical bridge between internal teams, customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automotive ECUs according to automotive standards and processes.
• Manage requirements and define ECU architectures and circuits.
• Perform circuit calculations, simulations, schematic design and PCB layout.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation.
• Debug and characterize ECUs throughout the development cycle.
• Provide technical interface for internal teams, customers and suppliers.
• Report project status regularly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Electrical Engineering.
• More than 6 years of hardware development experience.
• Significant advantage with automotive hardware development.
• Experience with SOC‑based radar systems for automotive applications is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to share knowledge within the team.
• Fluency in English; German or French are assets.
