Senior Financial Services Risk Management Consultant

About the role

EY Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) is a dedicated team offering risk management expertise to financial institutions, helping them manage prudential risk and regulatory reporting requirements. EY is looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in prudential risk and regulatory reporting to join its FSRM team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate has a proven track record with regulatory reporting tools and has previously worked with or for a bank, service provider or a Big 4 firm in Luxembourg.

Key responsibilities

• Support projects on prudential risk and regulatory reporting for financial institutions
• Advise on regulatory requirements, including CRD IV/CRR, BRRD and CSSF regulations
• Use and optimise regulatory reporting tools so clients report accurately and on time
• Build relationships with clients, regulators and other stakeholders
• Keep up with regulatory changes and industry trends to give proactive guidance
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Contribute to business development, including proposal writing and client presentations
• Work with cross-functional EY teams to deliver risk management solutions

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in prudential risk and regulatory reporting in financial services
• Prior experience using regulatory reporting tools in Luxembourg
• Strong understanding of the Luxembourg and EU regulatory framework, including ECB, EBA, CRR/CRD requirements and CSSF circulars
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards to complex financial operations
• Good project management skills and ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English; French and/or German is a plus
• CFA, FRM or equivalent qualification is highly desirable

Required skills

• Prudential and regulatory reporting: COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, Anacredit and other BCL reports
• Regulatory reporting tools such as Regnology, Moody and WKFS are a strong asset
• Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
