Senior Dotnet Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Dotnet Developer to join a globally leading tech client on a long‑term contract in Luxembourg. The role focuses on designing, developing, and delivering scalable cloud‑native applications using .NET technologies and Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications with C# on .NET Framework/.NET Core.
• Design microservices‑based architectures and containerised solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Event Sourcing, CQRS and event‑driven patterns with Azure Event Hub or Kafka.
• Build and integrate SOAP and REST APIs.
• Collaborate on front‑end development, preferably with Angular.
• Deploy, monitor and optimise applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Enhance SQL Server performance through query tuning and stored procedures.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB.
• Maintain source code in Git and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilise Elastic Stack for logging and monitoring and integrate with enterprise tools like IBM IIB and Automic.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with several years of hands‑on .NET development.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Proven experience with microservices, containerisation and event‑driven architectures.
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Solid background in SQL Server optimisation and NoSQL solutions.
