Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the European Investment Bank team in Luxembourg. The role focuses on administering, automating, and continuously improving enterprise and financial systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and secure software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain production and non‑production environments.
• Design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Administer and support Kubernetes and Tanzu platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure and operational processes.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery planning, testing, and execution.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams in Agile environments.
• Ensure system performance, security, and operational stability.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Science, Finance, Computer Science or related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting, maintaining, and administering financial or other business‑critical applications.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Kubernetes and Tanzu administration.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar.
• Production support and incident management.
• Disaster‑recovery processes and procedures.
• Technical project management and Agile methodologies.
