Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to bridge development and operations, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software products across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Change, Incident, Problem, Deployment, and Release processes.
• Define, implement, and maintain EIB release and deployment processes.
• Coordinate IT Service Management (ITSM) activities.
• Package and document releases according to EIB policies.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support.
• Act as Single Point of Contact for IT users and related departments.
• Monitor issues, follow up, and ensure resolution.
• Identify and automate process improvement opportunities.
• Produce, review, and maintain operational documentation.
• Support Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Configure and maintain applications and tools across all technical layers.
• Use DevOps tools to support CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps methodologies, release management and ITIL best practices.
• Experience with enterprise databases such as Sybase ASE and Oracle.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Bash, Groovy, Python, Java or equivalent).
• Familiarity with web and middleware technologies (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, JBoss EAP).
• Experience with version control and DevOps ecosystems (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise platforms and tools (Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Jira, Matomo, Codescene).
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end enterprise platforms in on‑premise environments.
• Track record of continuous improvement, automation, release planning and incident handling.
