Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join Devoteam’s engineering practice in Luxembourg. You will work on client engagements across financial services and large enterprises, building and operating robust infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins from scratch to production.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure release workflows, reducing manual effort and error.
• Define and apply observability strategies covering metrics, logs and distributed tracing.
• Build and operate Kafka‑based data pipelines and real‑time messaging systems.
• Write Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or OpenTofu and manage configurations with Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
• Investigate and resolve platform incidents end‑to‑end, produce post‑mortems and update runbooks.
• Contribute to Devoteam’s internal DevOps community through code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering.
• Senior‑level expertise with Kubernetes, including security hardening (AppArmor, SELinux, Seccomp, eBPF).
• Strong background in Infrastructure as Code and configuration management.
• Proven ability to design reliable, scalable systems in Linux environments.
