Senior Dealer & Analyst - Group Treasury

About the role

Group Treasury Luxembourg safeguards ING Luxembourg's capital, funding and liquidity position in normal and stressed market conditions, acting as a link between the business, financial markets and Group Treasury. As Senior Dealer & Analyst, you will strengthen the Luxembourg team and play a key role in interest rate risk management, balance sheet management and treasury transformation, working closely with business stakeholders, senior management, Market Risk Management, Finance and Group Treasury.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the economic interest rate risk position, linking business flows to balance sheet items and turning them into hedging actions
• Oversee Group Treasury interest rate risk management books so they stay within mandate, policy and risk appetite
• Advise business stakeholders and senior management on net interest margin stabilisation, balance sheet developments and interest rate risk implications
• Execute and monitor financial market transactions, from daily Nostro cash optimisation to longer-dated interest rate swaps
• Validate and challenge risk and P&L reporting with Market Risk Management, Finance and Group Treasury Head Office
• Contribute to transformation initiatives such as the Target Operating Model, system migrations and book integrity
• Help colleagues understand interest rate risk, IRRBB requirements and treasury architecture

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in banking, treasury, financial markets or interest rate risk management
• Strong experience with Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB)
• FRM or similar Financial Markets certification is an asset
• Excellent command of English; French is an asset

Required skills

• Interest rate risk management tools, balance sheet dynamics and financial accounting treatment
• Proficiency in Excel and professional position-keeping tools
• Analytical, risk-aware mindset and strong communication skills
