About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Senior Customer References Manager to lead the creation of high‑impact customer stories that showcase leadership in AI and cloud innovation. This fixed‑term position (12 months) will work closely with the Global Customer Marketing team to align references with AWS strategic priorities and drive measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and select customers whose experiences illustrate AWS’s AI, cloud transformation, and industry‑leadership narratives.
• Develop and maintain a storytelling framework that evaluates strategic value, technical innovation, and wow‑factor potential.
• Shape compelling customer stories that serve as social proof for marketers and sellers worldwide.
• Maintain a balanced portfolio across industries, use cases, and geographies to support diverse marketing and sales needs.
• Track story performance, adjust selection strategy, and ensure the highest impact narratives are prioritized.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience managing customer reference programs or similar marketing initiatives.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to work backwards from business priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams.
