Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Luxembourg engineering team, working at the forefront of Earth Observation and geospatial analytics. The role involves designing, building, and scaling cloud‑native infrastructure for high‑volume data processing, machine learning workloads, and mission‑critical analytics platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi‑environment deployments.
• Optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Enhance system reliability, security, and performance monitoring.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
• Lead secure networking across environments, including ingress/egress and connectivity.
• Own infrastructure components from design through production.
• Establish DevSecOps practices across teams.
• Mentor peers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, product, and data‑science teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering or site reliability engineering.
• Hands‑on experience designing and operating AWS‑based environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud‑native architectures and distributed systems.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Expertise with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong background building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog and CloudWatch.
• Solid knowledge of networking, security, identity management and cloud governance.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery.
