Senior Advisor, Public Affairs and Strategic Communications

About the role

As a core member of Apollo Strategists, the Senior Advisor supports high‑impact communication mandates for senior clients, handling media relations, crisis management and public affairs with autonomy and strategic rigor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced communication and media strategies tailored to client objectives and market dynamics.
• Draft high‑level content such as media statements, speeches, internal communication frameworks and crisis materials in French and English.
• Lead multi‑stakeholder communication projects across industries, delivering audits, positioning analyses and detailed reporting.
• Act as senior counsel to CEOs and executive teams, providing trusted advice on public messaging, stakeholder positioning and crisis response.
• Support business development activities, including proposal writing, pitch meetings and identifying growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Economics, Law or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic communications, consulting, public affairs, political advisory or crisis management.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken; additional languages such as German or Luxembourgish are a plus.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, political sensitivity, maturity and sound judgment, especially under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements independently and advise senior leaders on confidential matters.
