Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement and manage cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers in Luxembourg. The role involves working closely with clients to deploy firewalls, IAM, SIEM and vulnerability management tools while ensuring robust security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cybersecurity solutions for enterprise customers.
• Configure and manage firewalls, IAM, SIEM and vulnerability management platforms.
• Define, implement and optimise security policies and firewall rules.
• Explain technical choices and security rules to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Deploy and maintain security solutions in customer environments.
• Manage certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for security devices.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis and remediation follow‑up.
• Support customer acceptance testing and production deployments.
• Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers throughout projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven experience in infrastructure and network security.
• Experience delivering customer‑facing projects and managing them from design to handover.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco).
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
