Risk Assurance AML Trainee (Risk & Compliance)

About the role

Join PwC Luxembourg’s Risk Assurance team as an AML Trainee and support clients in building robust anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑terrorist‑financing programs. You will work on real‑world projects that combine analytics, technology and regulatory expertise to help organisations detect, monitor and mitigate financial crime risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the review and design of AML/CFT client programs, including risk assessments and customer due‑diligence processes.
• Conduct distributor due‑diligence and audit AML/CFT procedures for management companies, transfer agents and custodians.
• Support internal audit and internal control projects related to risk assurance for various business units.
• Prepare documentation and reports that ensure accurate, complete information is provided to third parties.

Required profile

• Final year Master’s student in Audit, Business, Economics, Financial Crime or a related field.
• Fluent in English; German or French is an asset.
• Analytical mindset with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Proactive, dynamic and able to work independently or within a team.
