Risk Assurance AML Associate

About the role

As an AML Associate in PwC Luxembourg’s Risk Assurance Compliance & Analytics team, you will support financial‑services clients in strengthening their anti‑money‑laundering and counter‑terrorist‑financing frameworks. You will work alongside specialists in AML/CFT, internal audit and risk advisory to deliver practical, regulatory‑compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on AML/CFT client engagements, reviewing and designing programme components.
• Participate in AML risk assessments and risk‑appetite exercises, translating regulatory expectations into actionable insights.
• Support the review of customer due‑diligence files and evaluate the effectiveness of AML/CFT procedures.
• Collaborate with industry participants such as management companies, transfer agents, custodians and domiciliary agents.
• Contribute to broader Risk Assurance projects, including internal audit and internal‑controls assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Audit, Business, Economics, Financial Crime or a related field.
• Working knowledge of AML/CFT concepts and regulatory expectations.
• Fluent in English and French and/or German.
• Strong analytical mindset, collaborative attitude and high ethical standards.
