About the role

The position leads the care department of a residential home, overseeing the wellbeing of residents and the performance of a large caregiving team. It combines operational management, financial oversight, and close collaboration with other institutional departments.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage the delivery of care for all residents.
• Lead and supervise a team of more than 50 nursing and care staff.
• Control budgets, monitor costs and ensure financial efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with dependency and health‑insurance regulations.

Required profile

• Holder of a Luxembourg nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification recognised in Luxembourg.
• Completed training in care management.
• Dynamic, flexible personality with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead large teams.
• Experience in financial management and cost control.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Knowledge of Luxembourg’s dependency and health‑insurance regulations.
• Proficiency with IT tools and fluency in the three official languages of Luxembourg.
• Previous experience in a similar senior care‑management role is an asset.
• Genuine empathy and commitment to the elderly.
