Responsable du Contrôle (RC) Officer for SICAVs

About the role

Universal Investment is seeking a dedicated Responsable du Contrôle (RC) Officer to lead AML/CFT compliance for its managed investment companies (SICAVs). You will act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and ensure the firm’s AML framework meets Luxembourg standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the designated RC for SICAVs, overseeing AML/CFT policies, risk appetite statements, and enterprise‑wide risk assessments.
• Conduct on‑site inspections of asset managers, transfer agents, and service providers to monitor AML/CFT operations.
• Collect key performance indicators, prepare regular and regulatory reports, and respond to fund‑related inquiries.
• Collaborate with the SICAV’s Responsable du Respect (RR) and present AML status updates at board meetings.
• Act as the first escalation point for all SICAV‑related AML/CFT matters and maintain liaison with local authorities and regulators.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the fund industry with a focus on AML/CFT compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT laws and regulatory framework.
• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Law, or Law preferred.
• Fluent in German and English with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
