Reliability Specialist

About the role

As a Reliability Specialist at Goodyear, you will help create a safer, more reliable, and higher‑performing manufacturing environment. By turning insights from failures and predictive maintenance into actionable improvements, you will support sustainable plant performance and a proactive reliability culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate reliability improvement initiatives to eliminate recurring failures and boost asset performance.
• Facilitate and manage Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive reliability actions that meet safety, productivity, and operational targets.
• Analyze predictive maintenance and condition monitoring reports and translate findings into clear action plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness.
• Participate in major equipment failure responses, leading investigations and ensuring timely communication.
• Plan and execute reliability‑focused maintenance and post‑service improvement activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or engineering.
• Background in Continuous Improvement, Zero Loss, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, or similar operational excellence environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, maintenance systems, reliability methodologies, and asset performance improvement.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, project execution, capital planning, and computerized maintenance systems.
• Collaborative mindset, customer focus, and ability to build effective partnerships.
• Understanding of safety standards, project management principles, and strong analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Leadership, coaching abilities, confident decision‑making, and excellent English communication skills.
