Plant Integration Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

This position is for a Plant Integration Engineer (Electrical) based in Luxembourg, supporting a next‑generation energy project. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to design, coordinate, and deliver critical plant systems while ensuring high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering and design collaboration across multidisciplinary plant systems.
• Provide technical oversight of electrical designs from functional requirements to final design.
• Coordinate design handoffs, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Develop and maintain electrical deliverables such as specifications, calculations, diagrams, and change packages.
• Evaluate systems against classification requirements, industry standards, codes, and licensing expectations.
• Integrate electrical scope with mechanical, nuclear, instrumentation, and controls disciplines.
• Review technical documentation for regulatory communications and licensing activities.
• Lead problem‑solving efforts to keep project schedules on track.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (advanced degree a plus) with at least 10 years of electrical systems experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple organizations and lead engineering integration.
• Experience with nuclear electrical system design and familiarity with Class 1E standards preferred.
• Knowledge of nuclear plant QA requirements (10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA‑1) highly desirable.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
