Quality Environment Health Safety Manager

About the role

GRADEL is seeking a Quality, Safety & Environment Manager to lead and continuously improve its QHSE management system. You will ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, normative and customer requirements across highly demanding industrial sectors such as nuclear, space, aeronautics and defence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the company’s Quality, Safety and Environmental policy.
• Maintain and develop management systems and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CEFRI, KTA 1401, EN 1090, etc.).
• Identify, assess and manage quality, safety and environmental risks.
• Plan, coordinate and follow up internal and external audits.
• Monitor QSE performance indicators and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as the main liaison with certification bodies, inspection organisations and regulatory authorities.
• Support operational teams in applying quality, safety and environmental requirements.
• Promote a culture of operational excellence, safety awareness and environmental responsibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a QHSE management position.
• Technical or engineering background with proven experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of management systems, certification schemes and applicable regulations.
• Fluent in French and English; German is an asset.
• Experience in the nuclear and/or space sectors is a strong advantage.
• EU citizenship required.
• Rigorous, autonomous, solution‑oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
