QA Engineer – FinTech (Manual & Automated Testing)

About the role

Finologee is looking for a hands‑on QA Engineer to join its fast‑growing FinTech team. You will work across payments, compliance and messaging streams, combining manual and automated testing to ensure high‑quality software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute functional and regression test scenarios, both manually and with automation.
• Leverage AI‑based tools for test design, defect analysis, exploratory testing and test‑data preparation.
• Participate throughout the development lifecycle, from design to post‑production support.
• Collaborate with product owners to analyse requirements, identify gaps and assess cross‑application impacts.
• Work closely with developers to validate changes and maintain high‑quality standards.
• Monitor automated test suite results, investigate failures and report defects with detailed documentation.
• Identify gaps in automation coverage and propose new automated scenarios.
• Create and maintain testing documentation, including processes and knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in manual and exploratory testing.
• Familiarity with Rapid Software Testing, Black‑Box Testing or Session‑Based Test Management.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
• Initial experience with automation frameworks and concepts.
• Strong understanding of user interaction with digital interfaces.
• Meticulous execution and focus on high‑quality results.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
