Project Manager (R&D Projects)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead R&D projects with discipline, predictable timelines, and full alignment to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role translates strategic technical objectives into structured project plans and drives them to completion while supporting the transition to product‑centric operations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, and resource plans using tools such as Jira and MS Project.
• Define scope, milestones, deliverables, and stage‑gate criteria aligned with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Track progress with Gantt and Burndown charts, manage risk and issue registers, and keep change‑control up to date.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, test, and quality teams, running Agile ceremonies and technical reviews.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, test protocols, and configuration management; maintain version‑controlled documentation in Confluence.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards (PowerBI or similar), analyse project data for trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead risk identification, mitigation, and escalation; monitor spend, forecast variances, and report cost impacts.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing R&D or engineering projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and drive alignment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and stage‑gate processes.
• Analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking and risk management.
