Production Flow Optimization Internship (Mold Plant)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated engineering student to join our Mold Plant in Colmar‑Berg for a 4‑to‑6‑month internship focused on optimizing production flows. You will work on analyzing material, WIP, equipment and information streams to identify improvement opportunities and support sustainable, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support analysis of production flows, including materials, work‑in‑progress, equipment, and information.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to enhance process efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Lean, WPO, DEC and other operational‑excellence tools.
• Assist in communicating changes to stakeholders to ensure adoption.
• Help evaluate digital tools for real‑time monitoring and reporting.

Required profile

• Engineering student (industrial, mechanical, production systems or related) in 4th or 5th year.
• Fluent in French and English; German is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative and creative problem‑solver.
• Hands‑on attitude and interest in operational excellence.

Required skills

• Lean, WPO, DEC methodologies (operational‑excellence tools).
• Data analysis and basic digital reporting tools.
