Principal Planning Integration – Fleet Demand & EU Supply Chain

About the role

Amazon is seeking a senior professional to lead the redesign of its Fleet Requirement Planning (FRP) model for EU logistics. The role will drive integration of new van requirements, advanced modelling techniques, and a modern dashboard to support critical fleet and supply‑chain decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Re‑engineer the automated FRP forecasting model to incorporate new Amazon van programs (e.g., Ship With Amazon, DSP Lite).
• Implement clustering, probability‑based modelling and agentic AI to improve forecast accuracy.
• Scale optimization models with operational cost as the objective function.
• Replace the current Excel‑based interface with a user‑friendly dashboard.
• Integrate additional supply channels and netting logics such as van sharing, off‑season vans, and multi‑use vehicles.
• Develop a “digital twin” of the FRP model for what‑if analysis, scenario planning and investment evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with finance partners to ensure demand plans meet peak requirements and support CAPEX/OPEX decisions.
• Define and own fleet demand forecasting accuracy metrics.
• Lead stakeholder buy‑in for significant fleet CAPEX and OPEX investments.
• Drive electrification planning (EV) and extend FRP to new business units and countries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet planning, supply‑chain analytics or related quantitative modelling.
• Strong ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence investment decisions.
• Experience collaborating with finance teams on demand and cost planning.
• Track record of delivering large‑scale optimisation or forecasting solutions.
• Ability to translate complex models into actionable business insights.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for modelling and data analysis.
