Consultant – GPSS Programme Office (Procurement)

About the role

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) seeks an experienced procurement consultant to support the GPSS Programme Office. The role focuses on category management, stakeholder coordination, and programme delivery for NATO’s General Procurement Shared Services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for the Procurement User Group (PUG) and Senior Customer Board (SCB), building strong relationships and prioritising work across procurement categories.
• Facilitate and coordinate GPSS procurement activities, collect requirements from NATO entities, and lead the development of business cases for category optimisation.
• Report savings, efficiencies, and turnover data to the SCB, and support the implementation of board decisions.
• Occasionally travel to NATO entities in Brussels or Mons for meetings and seminars.

Required profile

• Active NATO SECRET security clearance.
• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement category management experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong data‑analysis and data‑mining abilities, with excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in digital procurement tools and data analysis techniques.
