Principal Corporate Strategy & Business Development – AWS Strategic BD International

About the role

AWS is looking for a senior leader to drive high‑impact partnerships across its portfolio of businesses, focusing on the Nordics from our Amsterdam hub. You will shape and execute strategic deals that create value for AWS, Amazon and our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage complex, non‑standard partnerships that may involve multiple Amazon business units.
• Assess technical feasibility and economic cost‑benefit of proposed collaborations.
• Lead cross‑functional teams—including Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance and senior leadership—to bring deals to completion.
• Develop and maintain best‑practice processes for tracking and managing partnership opportunities.
• Support global strategic objectives of Amazon’s business teams.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with experience structuring large‑scale, innovative partnerships.
• Proven ability to manage executive‑level relationships both internally and with customers.
• Deep understanding of cloud, AI and digital transformation trends.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and the capacity to balance strategic vision with operational detail.
