Operations Officer – Payments and Transfers

About the role

Swissquote, a leading provider of online financial services, is looking for an Operations Officer to join its Operations team in Luxembourg. The role supports the processing of payments and stock transfers within the bank's back office.

Key responsibilities

• Complete cash and securities transfer processes accurately
• Manage account closures
• Monitor client margin positions
• Investigate client cash reconciliations
• Handle chargebacks
• Identify and propose process improvements
• Assist with regulatory reporting

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in financial services back-office operations
• Ability to work in an English-speaking environment; another language is an advantage
• Previous experience in payments, card networks or securities transfers is an advantage

Required skills

• Experience with transaction systems such as FED WIRE, SWIFT and SEPA
• Familiarity with bank regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering obligations, privacy and data protection
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail and critical analytical approach to problem solving
• Organisational and planning skills, strong written and verbal communication and teamwork
