Operations & Customer Service Specialist – Export/Import

About the role

Join DHL Global Forwarding in Luxembourg as an Operations & Customer Service Specialist focused on export and import shipments. You will act as the central point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth processing, timely delivery, and full visibility of each shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Check, accept and process customer bookings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to guarantee on‑time pick‑up and delivery.
• Verify that all required documents accompany each shipment.
• Proactively monitor shipment progress, identify bottlenecks and resolve issues before they impact delivery.
• Update the transport management system (TMS) with mandatory milestones for real‑time customer visibility.
• Accrue and monitor execution costs to protect profitability.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and suppliers to uphold excellent relationships.

Required profile

• Fluent in Luxembourgish, German, French and English.
• Extensive knowledge of AFR Import/Export processes.
• Excellent administrative and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, results‑driven and flexible team player.
