NC Programmer – Multi‑Axis CNC Specialist

About the role

As an NC Programmer in the Mold Plant, you will translate engineering designs into efficient CNC programs that drive the production of high‑quality tire components. Your work ensures optimal machine performance, tool life, and overall shop efficiency, making you a vital member of the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain multi‑axis CNC programs for high‑precision parts.
• Review, optimize, and document machining processes to maximize efficiency and tool longevity.
• Organize and keep the CNC program library up to date.
• Collaborate on the design of jigs, fixtures, and special equipment for CNC applications.
• Support cost‑improvement initiatives and equipment/tool selection.
• Adapt programs and strategies quickly to solve production challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics or a related field.
• Strong command of English; French or German is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for problem‑solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, specifically Catia V5 and OpenMind HyperMill.
• Experience in 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic for creating macros (nice‑to‑have).
• Hands‑on CNC programming, especially multi‑axis machining.
