Media Assistant Intern – Content & Marketing Support

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in marketing and business operations at Comms8. Reporting to senior managers, you will assist with content creation, project coordination, and day‑to‑day administrative tasks while gaining exposure to agency workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and edit content for presentations, brochures, blogs, newsletters and social media.
• Research trends, generate creative ideas for campaigns, and manage online community engagement.
• Track marketing channel performance and consolidate reports.
• Support copywriting, visual design, and short‑video/reel editing.
• Maintain PowerPoint decks, company materials and localise content when needed.
• Conduct desktop research on industry trends, competitors and potential clients.
• Update client databases, website assets, and assist in preparing proposals.
• Provide general administrative support, schedule meetings and manage printing needs.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in digital marketing, content creation or influencer marketing.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication abilities to handle local and international client interactions.

Required skills

• Short‑video editing and visual design.
• Proficiency with Canva for social‑media graphics.
• Familiarity with major advertising tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of the Chinese social‑media landscape (advantageous).
