Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

Join Husky Technologies' Development Engineering Team in Luxembourg to design and develop high‑performance beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period at the European headquarters, you will contribute to the full product development cycle, delivering reliable, cost‑effective mold designs.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate and refine design concepts based on project scope and selection criteria.
• Execute detailed CAD designs following company standards.
• Perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create comprehensive design documents and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including manufacturing, testing, and validation.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, set milestones, and communicate status effectively.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design for molds or tooling (advantageous).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD applications.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Experience with virtual simulation tools (advantageous).
• Ability to calculate design parameters and perform detailed design validation.
