Marketing Strategist & Innovation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Strategist & Innovation Manager to shape the long‑term vision and innovation pipeline for our assigned brands and categories within a leading multinational FMCG group. The role blends brand strategy, consumer insight analysis, portfolio development and breakthrough product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the long‑term strategic vision for assigned brands and categories.
• Analyse market trends, consumer shifts and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
• Translate consumer and shopper insights into portfolio development plans, including organic innovation and potential M&A opportunities.
• Lead incremental and breakthrough innovation projects from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality and Operations to develop innovation streams and systematise learnings.
• Ensure alignment of category strategy, brand strategy, portfolio priorities and innovation guidelines.
• Monitor and report on innovation pipeline progress and business performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in brand management, innovation management or strategy within an international FMCG company.
• Strong understanding of FMCG business models, brand building and marketing strategy.
• Experience in product innovation, market research, consumer data analysis and product testing.
• Ability to influence C‑level executives and senior global stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
