Marketing & Business Development Intern

About the role

Join the Luxembourg Marketing & Business Development team at Simmons & Simmons for a 6‑month internship. You will support a range of operational, analytical and creative activities that help the firm attract and retain clients across the financial services, asset management and investment funds sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, flyers and client‑facing documents.
• Assist in preparing pitches, proposals, legal directory submissions and other business development materials.
• Collect, organise and analyse data for client targeting, reporting and business development initiatives.
• Maintain CRM records, mailing lists and internal trackers, ensuring data quality.
• Work with Excel to clean data, build lists and support reporting.
• Help coordinate client events, internal meetings, conferences and other initiatives.
• Support social‑media activity by drafting posts, preparing visuals and tracking engagement.
• Explore AI and digital tools to improve research, drafting, formatting and process efficiency.
• Provide general operational support to the Luxembourg office, including meeting preparation and file management.

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Communication, Management, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.
• Fast, organised, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Analytical mindset comfortable working with data and trackers.
• Curious about AI tools and digital solutions.
• Proactive, resourceful and a strong communicator.
• Design‑aware with an appreciation for visual quality.
• Team player ready to work directly with the Luxembourg office.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
