Management Controller

About the role

JOST Group is seeking a Management Controller to join its headquarters in Weiswampach, Luxembourg. The position blends financial analysis, reporting and operational involvement within a four‑person team, supporting the group’s logistics, transport and multimodal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse monthly financial performance of group companies, ensuring data reliability.
• Identify optimisation opportunities and provide concrete recommendations.
• Measure and monitor operational results, maintain KPI tracking and implement new monitoring tools.
• Partner with business unit managers as a strategic advisor.
• Prepare and present regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and conduct economic and financial studies.
• Contribute to harmonising accounting and financial procedures across the group.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses and support cross‑functional projects.
• Implement management accounting, coordinate cost allocations with Accounting and ensure data quality.
• Monitor and control costs by service line and analyse variances against forecasts.
• Develop and update performance dashboards and conduct margin analysis per service line.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, management, audit or accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or auditing, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Strong command of English and French; German or Dutch is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical thinking and summarising abilities.
• Autonomous, proactive, organised, rigorous and able to persevere.
• Team‑spirit, flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Qlik Sense (or similar reporting tools).
• Familiarity with ODOO software.
