Management Controller (H/F)

About the role

The JOST Group is seeking a Management Controller to join its headquarters in Weiswampach. You will work within a four‑person finance team, acting as a strategic partner to business unit managers and providing insight into the financial performance of the group’s transport, logistics and real‑estate activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly tracking and analysis of financial results for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring data reliability.
• Identify optimisation opportunities, prepare concrete recommendations and support implementation.
• Measure and monitor operational KPIs, assess existing monitoring tools and introduce new dashboards.
• Prepare and present regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ad‑hoc economic studies for senior management.
• Contribute to the harmonisation of accounting and financial procedures across the group.
• Implement management accounting, coordinate cost allocations with the Accounting department and ensure analytical data quality.
• Control costs by service line (transport, logistics, real‑estate, garage, fueling stations) and perform variance and margin analyses.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance, management, audit or accounting.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar controller or audit role, preferably in an industrial or transport environment.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised, rigorous and able to work autonomously while collaborating with teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with a reporting tool such as Qlik Sense (plus).
• Familiarity with ODOO software (plus).
