Maître d'Hôtel – Restaurant Floor Manager

About the role

Jane is a modern European restaurant located in the GRID X destination. As the Maître d'Hôtel you will be the conductor of the dining room, ensuring elegant service and a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations, managing the team with precision and calm.
• Monitor bookings, capacity and guest flow together with the hosts.
• Supervise the POS system and ensure accurate, fast transactions.
• Foster strong team spirit and clear communication among staff.
• Build genuine relationships with regulars and new guests.
• Support service during peak periods with a visible presence.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Address guest concerns promptly and empathetically.
• Contribute to revenue growth through upselling and guest satisfaction initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high‑end restaurant.
• Background in hospitality management or related training is a plus.
• Natural leader who inspires, supports and solves problems.
• Warm, confident communicator with strong hospitality charisma.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
