Maître d'Hôtel – Lead Floor Operations

About the role

Jane is a modern European restaurant located in the GRID X destination in Wickrange. We are looking for a Maître d’Hôtel to lead the dining room, ensure elegant service and create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor operations with precision and calm.
• Monitor bookings, capacity and guest flow together with hosts.
• Supervise the POS system and ensure accurate, fast transactions.
• Foster a strong team spirit and maintain clear communication among staff.
• Build and maintain genuine relationships with regular and new guests.
• Support service during peak times with a visible, caring presence.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety protocols.
• Address guest concerns promptly and empathetically.
• Contribute to revenue growth through upselling and guest satisfaction initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high‑end restaurant.
• Background in hospitality management or related training is a plus.
• Natural team leader: inspiring, supportive and solution‑focused.
• Warm, confident communicator with strong hospitality charisma and emotional intelligence.
• Deep understanding of refined service and modern guest expectations.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages such as Luxembourgish are a plus.
