Logistics Process and Solutions Engineer

About the role

Vodafone is seeking a Logistics Process and Solutions Engineer to enhance warehouse operations and optimise transportation networks across its logistics ecosystem. The role blends technical solution design with hands‑on implementation, supporting both forward and reverse logistics at the Luxembourg Hub.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop warehouse layouts, storage concepts, and process flows based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial teams, 3PL partners, and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into operational solutions.
• Participate in feasibility studies, implementation, testing, and ramp‑up activities.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Kaizen, and 5S projects.
• Use analytical tools for performance monitoring, scenario modelling, productivity simulations, and cost‑to‑serve analysis.

Required profile

• Experience in contract logistics or 3PL environments with hands‑on warehouse design and operational engineering.
• Strong understanding of inbound/outbound flows, layout principles, storage solutions, inventory processes, and reverse logistics.
• Ability to work closely with customers, commercial leads, and IT systems teams.
• Proven track record of supporting business development through tailored proposals and cost modelling.
