Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Logistics Coordinator you will manage daily logistics activities, ensuring shipments are executed on time, cost‑effectively and with accurate documentation. You will act as the main liaison between the warehouse, suppliers and customers to guarantee smooth international transport.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with warehouse and internal teams to arrange economical, timely shipments.
• Prepare invoices, customs documents, manifests, bills of lading and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate direct supplier‑to‑customer shipments and verify all paperwork.
• Review customer invoices for accuracy before dispatch.
• Communicate with customers to obtain approval of shipping documents.
• Audit freight bills, ensure correct charges and authorize payments.
• Handle documentation for hazardous‑material shipments.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of international shipping regulations.
• Suggest and implement policy improvements for efficiency.
• Support and develop EDI integration with freight carriers.
• Create new logistics forms and participate in continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Education in technical sales, logistics or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in customer service, customs, traffic department or international transport.
• Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently.
• Solid technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) implementation and support.
