Lecturer / Assistant Professor – Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

About the role

LUNEX University of Applied Sciences is seeking a full‑time, permanent academic to join its Department of Health. The position focuses on teaching and research in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and manage undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy modules.
• Supervise student projects and support clinical placement activities.
• Perform academic administrative tasks and contribute to programme quality assurance.
• Participate in academic governance and develop the research profile of the department.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in English (teaching language) and commitment to patient‑centred care.
• Motivation for continuous professional development and evidence‑based teaching.
• Demonstrated research leadership, publications and a desire to expand the evidence base of the profession.

Required skills

• OMPT qualification (preferred).
• Experience with digital teaching tools and online course delivery.
