Lead Software Engineer – Mobile Development (Crypto Wallets)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of high‑performance crypto‑wallet applications on iOS and Android. Based in Luxembourg, you will lead a small mobile team while actively contributing to React Native code that integrates DeFi and blockchain services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build cross‑platform mobile apps with React Native, ensuring performance, scalability and a seamless user experience.
• Provide technical leadership, define architecture, enforce coding standards and mentor a team of mobile engineers.
• Architect core mobile foundations such as state management, navigation, modularization, performance optimisation and security.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs, SDKs, WebSockets and blockchain services, and contribute to backend components when needed.
• Conduct code reviews, guide best practices and maintain high code quality.
• Work with product managers and designers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt modern mobile tools, frameworks and development patterns.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mobile development with a strong focus on React Native.
• Proven track record of leading or mentoring mobile engineering teams and owning architecture for large‑scale applications.
• Deep understanding of mobile CI/CD pipelines, native build processes and front‑end tooling.
• Experience integrating native modules and working with iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) or Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets and distributed backend integration.
