Junior Technician – Distributed Information Systems Monitor

About the role

The NATO Support Agency (NSPA) is seeking a Junior Technician to monitor and support its Distributed Information Systems. You will provide first‑level incident management, assist end users, and help maintain a stable LAN/WAN environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level support and guidance to users of IS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve common web‑technology and server‑application issues using FAQs and knowledge‑base resources.
• Administer LAN and WAN environments, including Microsoft Windows client‑server setups.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory.
• Optimize and configure EDP hardware and software.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain IT assets such as PCs, printers, phones, servers and Wi‑Fi equipment.

Required profile

• Complete secondary school or equivalent education.
• Three to five years of experience in EDP‑related administrative tasks, preferably as a Senior Clerk.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience with IT asset management.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
