Junior Purchaser – Public Laboratory (Full‑time)

About the role

The Laboratoire national de santé is seeking a Junior Purchaser to join its Purchasing Service. Working full‑time on a permanent basis, you will support the acquisition of laboratory equipment, consumables and services while developing your procurement expertise in a regulated public‑sector environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, processing and follow‑up of purchase orders.
• Track orders, liaise with suppliers and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Help resolve issues related to deliveries, invoices or product quality.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system (Odoo) and support inventory control.
• Monitor existing supplier contracts, including maintenance agreements.
• Support the preparation and follow‑up of public tenders for maintenance and investment contracts, complying with public procurement regulations.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and performance monitoring.
• Collect and analyse purchasing needs from internal departments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate able to work under the supervision of the Head of Service.
• Strong interest in public‑sector procurement and laboratory supply chains.
• Good organisational skills and ability to collaborate with senior purchasers.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
