Junior Mold Mechanical Designer – Product Development

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Mold Mechanical Designer to join our Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg. After an initial training period you will support the product development of beverage packaging tooling, delivering reliable and cost‑effective designs on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed mold designs following company standards.
• Perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and maintain complex project plans, set milestones and communicate status.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Some years of experience in a similar environment is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management skills.
• Fluent English; additional French or German is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with virtual simulation tools.
