Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

Join Husky Technologies' Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg to design and develop beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period at the European headquarters, you will contribute to the product development process by delivering high‑quality, reliable and cost‑effective mold designs.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate design concepts and create a design selection matrix based on the scope of work.
• Execute detailed designs applying company standards and perform system‑level design.
• Produce design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, set milestones and communicate status effectively.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in mold or tooling environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Experience with virtual simulation tools (advantage).
