Junior Mold Mechanical Designer for Product Development

About the role

As a Junior Mold Mechanical Designer you will join Husky Technologies' Development‑Engineering team, focusing on beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period you will support the product development process, delivering reliable, high‑performance mold designs on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Execute detailed mold designs following company standards.
• Perform system‑level design with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including engineering, manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Develop and maintain complex project plans, set milestones and communicate status.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Some years of experience in a similar mechanical design environment (advantageous).
• Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management skills.
• Fluent English (written, verbal, presentation); additional French or German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with virtual simulation tools.
