Electrical Project Engineer – Luxembourg

About the role

As an Electrical Project Engineer at Goodyear’s Lux Tire Plant, you will join a young, dynamic team delivering cutting‑edge engineering solutions for tire manufacturing. You will lead electrical projects that enhance process efficiency, sustainability and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement engineering projects related to equipment and infrastructure at the Lux Tire Plant.
• Develop technical specifications that meet customer, internal and legal requirements.
• Design electrical systems and equipment for industrial/manufacturing applications.
• Support production and maintenance teams to improve machinery reliability and resolve major breakdowns.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects meet performance, safety and cost expectations.
• Identify and implement innovative technology solutions for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing or automation environment.
• Fluency in English; German or French proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work collaboratively in a dynamic plant environment.

Required skills

• PLC programming (Rockwell Automation).
• Electrical system design for industrial applications.
