Junior IT Helpdesk Technician

About the role

OQ Technology is seeking a Junior IT Helpdesk Technician to provide first‑line technical support to staff across its global offices. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues, managing devices, and ensuring smooth operation of collaboration tools.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the initial point of contact for hardware, software and network incidents, logging and resolving tickets via the ITSM platform.
• Provide onsite and remote assistance for laptops, peripherals, printers, AV equipment and meeting‑room technology.
• Support video‑conferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom for a distributed workforce.
• Administer SharePoint Online sites, permissions and external sharing policies.
• Manage user accounts, groups, distribution lists and shared mailboxes in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365.
• Enroll, configure and maintain Windows and macOS devices in Microsoft Intune, applying security policies and deploying software updates.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and execute onboarding/offboarding processes.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate with a strong interest in IT support.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work independently on first‑ and second‑line issues.

Required skills

• Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SharePoint Online
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365 administration
• Microsoft Intune device management for Windows and macOS
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems
• Basic knowledge of printers, AV equipment and video‑conferencing hardware
