Junior Financial Controller

About the role

Join EY as a Junior Financial Controller and help shape the financial performance of the firm. You will work with high‑performing teams, leveraging modern technology to support cost management, reporting, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, monitoring and reporting of indirect costs.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc financial reports.
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Track, analyse and explain variances against budget and prior year.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Develop relationships with budget owners and lead monthly review meetings.
• Prepare presentations for senior executives together with the Finance Director.
• Collaborate with Service Line Controllers, finance leaders and operational teams to align cost management with business objectives.
• Support ad‑hoc analysis and cost‑optimisation projects, and assist on special initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong delivery focus.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Detail‑oriented and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (filters, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
