Junior Electronics Engineer – Satellite Electronics

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Electronics Engineer to join our agile, international team in Betzdorf. You will support the development and validation of advanced satellite electronics, focusing on design, PCB layout, and radiation testing.

Key responsibilities

• Define requirements and specifications for digital hardware subsystems.
• Assist in schematic design, PCB layout, and basic architecture definition under senior guidance.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design descriptions, test plans, and verification reports.
• Support component selection with emphasis on reliability and radiation tolerance.
• Participate in laboratory activities: board bring‑up, debugging, functional testing, and data collection.
• Help execute radiation testing campaigns (TID, SEE) and analyse results.
• Collaborate with firmware/software engineers to validate hardware functionality.
• Work with PCB designers and manufacturing partners on board production and assembly.
• Contribute to risk identification, mitigation, and system‑level testing.

Required profile

• Graduated in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
