IT Support Specialist

About the role

CTG IT solutions is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for a prestigious European institution in Luxembourg. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, ensuring smooth operation of standard applications and the institution’s bespoke IT tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd‑level support for Windows, Linux, and mobile devices.
• Manage user accounts, rights, and the Helpdesk call centre and mailbox.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Confluence, SharePoint, and specialized applications such as Streamline, People, Erapnot, Streamline‑Assmal, EU‑Login, Codict, Arpege and Gap.
• Update knowledge base, create user documentation, and conduct functional testing of new releases.
• Deliver high‑quality training to improve user adoption of client‑supported applications.
• Escalate complex incidents to 3rd‑line support and contribute to incident reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European language is a plus.
• Strong communication, customer orientation and diplomatic skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, open‑communication environment.
