IT Branch Chief – Senior IT Leadership Role

About the role

The IT Branch Chief will lead the IT branch of a multinational defence support agency, overseeing the delivery of large‑scale digital projects and ensuring the reliability of critical IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the branch’s strategic IT roadmap, covering software architecture, cloud, and digital engineering.
• Supervise teams developing web applications, collaboration platforms, and PLM solutions.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and procurement for IT systems and services.
• Ensure information security, availability and reliability of applications exposed on public and private networks.
• Lead the integration of AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s level).
• Minimum eight years of experience in senior IT roles, including project and people management.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex IT projects.
• Experience with budget preparation, execution and control.
